Planning Information Advisor – Fixed Term
Full-time role within the Planning Information Advisor Team (Planning Helpdesk), based in Albany with flexible working options and occasional remote work.
Key Responsibilities
- Share up-to-date planning knowledge and technical expertise to provide guidance to council customers on regulatory matters, ensuring desired environmental outcomes and supporting Auckland Council’s reputation.
- Improve the consistency and efficiency of the Regional Planning Helpdesk Team through collaboration with the Resource Consents Department, Building Consents Department, Compliance teams, and other stakeholders.
- Participate in training and support programs within the organization.
Qualifications and Experience
- Planning experience and a tertiary qualification in urban planning, resource management, or a related field, preferably acknowledged by NZPI.
