Plant Engineer (BSc/BEng Mechanical Engineer - Heavy Engineering)

An established FMCG manufacturing operation is looking for a practical, solutions-driven Mechanical Engineer to take ownership of plant reliability, maintenance strategy, equipment performance, and engineering improvement projects.

This is a hands-on role suited to an engineer who enjoys being on the factory floor, solving technical problems, driving continuous improvement, and leading maintenance teams to deliver world-class operational performance.

Responsibilities:

• Drive plant reliability through planned, preventive, and predictive maintenance programs.


• Lead fault-finding, root cause analysis, and equipment performance improvement initiatives.


• Manage mechanical maintenance activities to minimise downtime and maximise production output.
