Plant maintenance fitter

Plant Fitter £18.00 - £20.00 per hour Location: Alfreton, Derbyshire Our client is looking for an experienced Plant Fitter to join their team. The role involves servicing, maintaining and repairing heavy plant and machinery used within the construction, quarrying and rail sectors. The successful candidate will be capable of working both independently and as part of a team, whether in the workshop or out in the field. Plant Fitter - Position Overview Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs on heavy plant and machinery. Diagnose faults using computer diagnostic equipment. Repair or replace damaged components and test machinery to ensure safe operation. Build, refurbish and assemble mechanical components. Perform maintenance on hydraulic systems and associated equipment. Attend breakdowns at depots and customer sites as required. Carry out welding and general mechanical repairs.
