Plant Operator

PPS is seeking a detail-oriented Plant Operator for our liquid waste management facility in Austin. This is a full-time, permanent position with benefits and a high ceiling for growth! Responsibilities: Load/unload docks using forklift Operated vacuum trucks to unload liquid waste and process materials through screening and filtration systems. Monitor gauges and charts, and use computerized systems to ensure optimal treatment and compliance with regulations Perform minor maintenance on equipment, identify and resolve equipment issues, and make necessary repairs Operate and monitor pumps, valves, and other treatment equipment to control the flow and treatment processes Document operational data, maintain records on water quality, and prepare reports to ensure adherence to environmental regulations Follow safety procedures, plan emergency response protocols, and act to fix issues The Ideal Candidate Will Possess: High level of attention-to-detail Proven mechanical acumen- working with ha...
