Purpose of the job
To control and manage the Planning, Procurement and Logistics functions to consistently meet and exceed customer expectations. The role ensures effective integration with other business functions while enabling a high‑performing, compliant, and continuously improving supply chain environment with competent and empowered employees.
Key Responsibilities
- Stock Management
- Ensure effective stock management and adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Maintain optimum stock levels and accurate monthly stocktakes.
- Manage blocked and quality stock through corrective actions.
- Monitor stock availability, waste levels, and cost efficiency (cents per litre).
- Procurement Management
- Ensure effective procurement of dry goods aligned to production plans and forecasts.
- Source optimal suppliers outside group purchasing contracts when required.
