Opportunity Description

The Veterans Administration Medical Center (VAMC) in Washington DC, where serving our Nations Heroes is our number one priority. The main role of the Plastic Surgeon is to give care to patients referred to the Plastic Surgery Clinic. The Plastic Surgeon will take care of Skin Cancers, Breast Reconstruction, Wounds, Head and Neck Reconstruction and burn patients. The Plastic Surgeon will evaluate all new patient referrals to the clinic. Diagnosis, treatment and will follow up as indicated by the guidelines of the Plastic Surgery Clinic.

b. Microsurgery, Breast Surgery, Removal of Complex Skin Cancers, Wounds, Burns

c. Debridements, limb salvage, facial fractures, and Trauma Coverage

d. Management of New Patient Consults

e. Assist with Residency Training Program
