Summary This vacancy is for a WG - 4206-9,Plumber located in the Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Coast Guard, CG ACADEMY PUBLIC WORKS SECTION in NEW LONDON, Connecticut. Responsibilities You will serve as a Plumber and be responsible for performing preventative and corrective maintenance (PM/CM) on plumbing, electrical and air conditioning, HVAC, as well as a variety of tasks involved in the upkeep of buildings, grounds and related structures, fixtures, and utilities. Being a Coast Guard civilian makes you a valuable member of the Coast Guard team. Typical work assignments include: Follows sketches, specifications, guides, codes, verbal orders, and supervisory instructions to complete all maintenance, improvement, and repair work associated with water distribution, filtration and plumbing systems, sanitary and storm-water drainage systems and their associated components.
