Specialty Doctor – Neonatal Unit

Applications are invited for the position of Specialty Doctor in the Neonatal Unit at Aberdeen Maternity Hospital (AMH), part of NHS Grampian.

About the Unit

The Neonatal Unit at AMH, in partnership with the Royal Aberdeen Children's Hospital, provides the principal hospital services for newborns and children across the Grampian Region and the Orkney and Shetland Islands.

The unit is located within the Foresterhill Hospital site. Plans are in progress for the new Baird Family Hospital, which will enhance delivery of Women’s Services and Neonatal Care.

Role Overview

As a Specialty Doctor you will support day‑to‑day running of a busy neonatal unit, contribute to clinical services, teaching, audit and research, and bring innovative ideas for continuous improvement.
