Job Description

Northern Kentucky University (NKU) invites applicants for the position of Police Officer as member of the University Police Department, to serve and protect the campus community. The officer is responsible for maintaining a positive relationship with the university community; maintaining a secure environment; mitigating safety hazards; being observant and responding to actual and suspected criminal activity on campus; controlling and regulating traffic; and investigating security, safety, crime, and traffic incidents.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent;
• 21 years of age at the time of appointment;
• Valid driver's license.
