Summary THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION THAT REQUIRES MILITARY MEMBERSHIP. This National Guard position is for a POLICE OFFICER, Position Description Number PDD2499P01 and is part of the Mississippi National Guard. Responsibilities As a POLICE OFFICER, GS-0083-7, you will perform law enforcement work to maintain law and order, preserve the peace, protect life and civil rights, detect, and assists local, state, or federal law enforcement in investigations, arrests and/or detention, or apprehension, and perform patrols within the assigned jurisdictions. These duties must be coordinated with local law enforcement.
