**_Roles & Responsibilities:_**

The Department of Pathology, Molecular and Cell-Based Medicine at the Mount Sinai Health System and the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in New York City is recruiting a full-time Postdoctoral Fellow in the Molecular Genomics Laboratory.

The Postdoctoral Fellow will focus on the development of novel genomic assays into the laboratory consistent with diagnostic efforts in Thoracic Oncology. The assays are anticipated to predominantly utilize next-generation sequencing (NGS) methodologies, though other technologies may also be employed where applicable. The candidate will have the opportunity to be involved in cross laboratory/technology collaborations, and will be expected to present findings at internal and external forums.
