The Romiti Group in the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at the University of Texas at Dallas, has a postdoctoral position available in the area of catalytic methods development and complex biologically active molecule synthesis. We are seeking a highly motivated and independent scientist with a strong background in organic synthesis and is excited about organic chemistry, synthesis and catalysis, to join our research team. Complex molecule synthesis experience is required. The postdoc will develop high-impact and practical catalytic transformations, and creative, novel synthesis strategies for the concise and efficient preparation of bioactive complex natural products and analogs thereof. The postdoc will also serve as a mentor to junior graduate students. The candidate should have completed a Ph.D. within the last three years or soon to be completed in chemistry or a related discipline.
