Opportunity Description
We are looking for a highly motivated junior postdoctoral researcher in pharmacogenomics to join our research group at the Department of Clinical Chemistry. Our research aims to understand mechanisms underlying variability in the susceptibility to potentially life‑threatening adverse events from fluoropyrimidine-based chemotherapy. Our overall goal is to translate scientific knowledge into clinically useful predictive or prognostic markers for the identification of individuals at risk of adverse drug reactions or of therapeutic failure, thereby contributing to treatments that are more closely tailored to patients' individual needs.
