Postdoctoral Researcher – 80‑100% position, fixed‑term 3 years, Bern.

Institution / Workplace: Department of Clinical Chemistry, Inselspital Bern, Bern.

Responsibilities

• Genetic association studies in patients and healthy volunteers.
• Measurement of drugs and other metabolites in vitro and in vivo.
• Functional characterization of candidate genetic variants using cell models and enzyme assays.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Biomedical Sciences or a related field, M.D., Pharm.D., or an equivalent degree.
• Solid understanding of genetics and/or genomics.
• Experience in genetic association studies and wet‑lab molecular biology.
• Experience in pharmacology and/or bioinformatics tools and data analysis would be an advantage. <...
