Postperson with Driving

Location: Cranbrook Delivery Office, TN17 3RB. Job type: Permanent contract. Salary: £13.68 per hour (paid monthly with paid overtime available).

Working hours: 30 hours per week - working 5 days in 7 across Monday - Sunday – 08:00 to 15:30.

Responsibilities

• Sort letters and parcels at the delivery office.
• Deliver post by van and on foot in your local area.
• Build relationships with customers.
• Work outdoors in all weathers.
• Securely deliver all items on your route, including election materials and certain items such as food products or alcohol in line with Royal Mail business standards.

Qualifications

• A full manual UK driving licence (maximum 6 penalty points, registered to your current name and address).
• Willingness to drive a Royal Mail van daily and ability to pass a driving assessment.
