Founded in 2012, HDF Energy is a leading global player in the hydrogen sector, with two main activities. As an industrial company, HDF designs and manufactures high-power fuel cells at its factory in Blanquefort, near Bordeaux. These cutting-edge technologies produce electricity from hydrogen, with the aim of decarbonising power generation for public electricity grids, as well as heavy maritime and rail mobility. As a hydrogen infrastructure architect, HDF Energy designs and develops large turnkey hydrogen infrastructures to produce low-carbon hydrogen and clean electricity.
