Pre-Registration Trainee Pharmacy Technician

Overview

A pre‑registration trainee pharmacy technician apprentice will work under the direction of registered pharmacists and pharmacy technicians within multidisciplinary teams, assisting in the provision and preparation of medicines for patients in both acute and speciality settings.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the provision and preparation of medicines to meet patient needs.
• Apply respect, confidentiality and professional conduct at all times.
• Maintain a safe working environment and contribute to the safeguarding of patients.
• Work accurately when preparing and dispensing medicines.
• Communicate effectively and work well as part of a team.
• Recognise and work within one’s own limitations.

Qualifications & Eligibility

• Must be a UK, EEA or EU resident for at least the past three years.
• Hard‑working, excellent team worker with strong communication skills.
