Opportunity Description
Join ALTA Paramedic Health as a Primary Care Paramedic in Okotoks. Provide critical emergency care and transport services while working in diverse weather conditions and remote locations.
As a Primary Care Paramedic with ALTA Paramedic Health, you will assess emergency scenes and deliver clinical care to those in need. You'll operate emergency vehicles, administer medications, and ensure necessary equipment is maintained. This role requires physical stamina and adaptability, exposing you to challenging environments.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess and treat patients at emergency scenes
• Operate ambulances and provide patient transport
• Administer basic life support and minor medications
• Lead BLS crews during patient transport
• Maintain and stock ambulances per APH standards
Requirements:
• Registered with Alberta College of Paramedics (ACOP) as PCP
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification
• Valid Class 4 Alberta Operator's License
