Primary Teaching Assistant

Rikama Education is working with a primary school in Deal to appoint a Teaching Assistant who can start ASAP. The role will cover the current 1:1 Teaching Assistant who is on long term sick leave.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 support for a hearing-impaired pupil with additional learning needs in Year 1
• Differentiate the work set by the class teacher
• Liaise with parents/carers, the class teacher and the SENCO
• Monitor the pupil’s progress and development

Your working hours will be 8:45 – 3:15, Monday – Friday. Term time only.
