Position: Principal Advisor, Insights and Evidence – Wellington based, full time, fixed term until July 2027. Midpoint salary $145,198 dependent on experience.

What you’ll do

• Lead and deliver public health work programmes across the SIM unit, Public Health Agency and Mental Health group.
• Develop strategic insights and knowledge products that inform group priorities and support science‑based policy, regulation and long‑term planning.
• Provide expert thought leadership and strategic advice, influencing cross‑Ministry and sector‑wide decision‑making to advance Government and Ministry priorities.
