Job Description Overview

This position is for a Principal Dams & Reservoirs Engineer at AtkinsRéalis within the Design & Advanced Technology practice. The role involves leading a multi‑disciplinary team on complex reservoir and hydraulic projects for major UK water authorities such as Thames Water, Anglian Water, South East Water and Southern Water. The role is based in one of our Epsom, Peterborough or Cambridge offices and involves hybrid working (three days a week office/site based).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate or manage a team of engineers and scientists for the delivery of technical design work on complex multi‑disciplinary reservoir and hydraulic structures projects, following relevant national and project‑specific design codes and standards.
• Produce and review technical deliverables such as design reports, drawings, calculations and scopes of work.
