Principal Electrical Engineer

The role of a Principal Electrical Engineer includes:

• Lead and oversee the design, planning, and execution of electrical engineering on projects. Work with Motor Control Centres, LV distribution systems, cabling, instrumentation, industrial networks, PLCs, and SCADA. Systems will include both new technology and existing legacy installations.
• Provide design support and guidance for schemes, ensuring all designs are fit for purpose and meet current legislation and standards.
• Possess a broad knowledge of industry standards and legislation.
• Challenge client specifications appropriately and present and defend solutions to complex problems.
• Identify opportunities to improve delivery processes, including the development and implementation of standard designs, sustainable solutions, and digital tools.
