Job Overview

Arm-based systems—from smartphones to cars to datacenters—require a motivated architect to lead the definition and demonstration of Quality of Service (QoS) capabilities across our IP portfolio and systems, contributing to the strategic direction of Arm-based platforms.

Responsibilities

• Specify Quality of Service requirements across our IP portfolio to meet system-level requirements for real-time predictability, power management, performance, freedom from interference, and noisy neighbor service level containment.
• Work with solution architects to distil QoS requirements and specify QoS aspects of the system architecture that meet those requirements.
• Collaborate with architects for AMBA and the Arm architecture as required to enable future QoS capabilities.
• Define and lead methodologies for demonstrating that QoS architecture meets requirements, both in theory and in real systems.
