Principle RF IC Front-End Designer

Introduction: In this role you will be a key member of a global RF IC reference design team, responsible for developing RF front-end solutions that demonstrate the capabilities of GlobalFoundries RFSOI technologies. The position focuses on the design and enablement of core RF IC building blocks, including switches, antenna tuners, and low-noise amplifiers. You will work closely with customers across China and the Asia region to communicate technology capabilities, understand application specific design requirements, and translate these needs into effective reference designs that showcase platform strengths. Your Job
: Design and develop RF switches and antenna tuners for 5G FR1/FR3 cellular and WiFi applications using GlobalFoundries RFSOI technologies.
Perform RF IC schematic design, layout, and verification using Cadence IC design tools.
Execute electromagnetic (EM) simulations using tools such as EMX and ADS Momentum to validate RF performance.
