Salary Range: $56,843.28 - $56,843.28

Works under an assigned fire station Lieutenant to support both Fire Suppression and Emergency Medical Service (EMS) Operations to assess, and triage non-urgent, urgent and emergency request for medical care. Applies advanced knowledge and skills necessary to patient care and/or medical transportation. Facilitates access to a higher level of care when the needs of the patient exceed the capability level of the Advance Emergency Medical Technician (AEMT). Serves as a patient care team member in a hospital or health care setting when needed. May perform home visits to observe patient's care and report to a higher-level of authority. Educates the public on fire safety, prevention, and hazard mitigation.
