POSITION SUMMARY:

Under general supervision performs work of moderate difficulty in analyzing plant processes and operations to aid in the control and improvement of same; performs related work as required. 
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: 

Analyzes plant process information to evaluate short and long-term plant performance and to determine necessary process modifications

Develops operating cost figures through analysis of operational and maintenance data

Works closely with the laboratory personnel on special projects involving sampling, testing, and laboratory analysis
