Position Overview
The Process Engineer will be responsible for developing, implementing, and continuously improving manufacturing processes related to gear production. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with gear cutting, heat treatment, grinding, and finishing operations, and understands the technical requirements of producing high-precision gears to AGMA standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize manufacturing processes for spur, helical, bevel, and worm gears
- Create and maintain routings, work instructions, and process documentation
- Improve cycle times, reduce scrap, and enhance process capability
