Procurement Assistant
The Procurement Assistant supports the Procurement Department in sourcing, purchasing, and monitoring goods and services required by the organization. This role ensures accurate documentation, timely processing of purchase requests, and coordination with suppliers while maintaining compliance with company policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in processing Purchase Requests (PRs) and Purchase Orders (POs) in a timely and accurate manner
- Coordinate with internal departments regarding procurement requirements and specifications
- Source quotations from accredited suppliers and prepare comparative analysis
- Monitor delivery schedules and follow up with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery
- Assist in receiving, checking, and documenting delivered items against purchase orders
