Procurement Buyer

Our client is looking for a skilled Buyer/Senior Buyer/Planner for Food Ingredients/Flavors in a manufacturing environment. The position will lead end to end supply and production planning in assigned categories. It will be responsible for managing Supplier Relationships and performance.

This is an onsite/hybrid role in Chicago area, Western O'hare Airport area. It is a Confidential Search for a seasoned Buyer/Senior Buyer/Planner. This role combines procurement and production planning responsibilities.

Responsibilities include:

• Procurement strategy for assigned raw materials
• Managing positive relationships with suppliers- Selection, Relationship, Negotiations, Dual Sourcing
• Collaborate with scheduling and forecasting
• Manage consumption availability and inventory levels
• Adhere to all food safety standards
• Ensure proper usage of ERP system
