Procurement - Sourcing Specialist

Job Description Under direct supervision, plans sourcing of goods and services to support manufacturing tactical and strategic plans at the plant level. Complies with and executes Category Management strategies in accordance with policies and procedures. Creates request for quotations (RFQ) and organizes competitive bidding from various suppliers to obtain the best quality, delivery, and price for goods and services. Develop, drive and monitor project plans for new sourcing qualification. Provides input and compliance to all Halliburton policies and procedures, including those associated with International Trade Compliance. Serves as the facilitation point between regional sourcing teams, PSLs, and other Supply Chain (Procurement, Materials & Logistics, Manufacturing, etc.) internal customers, when required, to ensure proper benefits, timelines, and deliverables are met.
