CIRA is seeking a Procurement Specialist to enhance productive procurement practices in a blended remote and office role. As part of CIRA's Finance team, this position plays a crucial role in the procurement process, ensuring compliance and efficiency.
You will collaborate with various departments, such as Legal and Finance, to manage vendor relationships while identifying and mitigating risks. Ideal candidates will command strong organizational skills coupled with a proactive attitude towards procurement tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with business units to identify procurement needs
- Prepare and issue precise purchase orders
- Coordinate procurement activities from intake to contract execution
- Monitor order fulfillment and timely delivery
- Support sourcing activities including RFPs and RFQs
