Fulltime Producer/Writer
KTLA is seeking an experienced Morning News producer/writer to work on our #1 rated newscasts. We are looking for someone who will be dynamic in producing compelling, informative, and engaging newscasts that our viewers have come to love and expect each morning for over three decades. The KTLA Morning News is about chemistry and connecting with our loyal audience.
Responsibilities:
+ To produce, write and edit news content for broadcast and digital platforms. Select and prioritize stories that provide our viewers with a mix of breaking news, talkers, sports and stories relevant to Southern California.
+ Coordinate with segment and entertainment producers for special segments, including pitching ideas and helping to execute.
+ Work with associate producers to order creative graphics to enhance the broadcast.
