Product Coordinator - Pecan nuts

We are looking for a dynamic and responsible candidate to serve as a Pecan Nut Product Coordinator in Upington and the surrounding areas.

The successful candidate must have their own reliable transport and be willing to travel regularly between Upington and other surrounding areas in the Northern Cape.

The position involves evaluating pecan nut quality on farmers’ farms, as well as conducting sample grading according to prescribed standards.

The candidate will be responsible for stock control and monitoring, as well as coordinating the loading and offloading of stock at various intake points. In addition, the person must be able to perform sample grading within a pecan nut processing facility.

Requirements

• Grade 12
• 1+ year experience in the pecan nut industry
• Experience in pecan nut cultivar identification
• A tertiary qualification is advantageous, but not a prerequisite
