Product Development Engineer

Product Development Engineer - Chemical This role provides a unique opportunity to work with the design of defence products and processes, as well as the chance to witness and conduct product trials. The role requires broad scope of fundamental engineering techniques with good variation of day-to-day activities and involvement across the whole product lifecycle. Typical duties include (but are not limited to): Supporting product design and systems engineering activities for new and legacy products, including product design and evaluation using systems engineering tools (e.g. Pugh Matrices, Fault Tree Analysis (FTA), Design Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (DFMEA)). Process design, definition and critical evaluation e.g. Process Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (PFMEA), Process Control Plans (PCP) ensuring safety remains the highest priority in the working practices of yourself and the team.
