Production Lead Hand Downhole Manufacturing Winnipeg

Job Summary: The Lead is responsible for coordinating day‑to‑day machining and repair activities with efficiency, quality, and safety. The Lead will accomplish this through directing the workflow in the shop, ensuring secure work practices are followed, and will provide guidance to other machinists as required.

Dayshift Position: This is a dayshift position 6am - 2:30pm.

Primary Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate operators and machinists in the facility.
• Review and coordinate production schedule, confirming targets are met on a daily basis.
• Set up and operate lathes or other machines.
• Interpret engineering drawings for specifications, set up and operating requirements.
• Clean machine, tooling and parts, and may perform minor machine maintenance.
• Assist with recruitment, promotions and employee relations.
• Drive safety, quality, 5S, and housekeeping throughout the machine shop area in the facility....
