Production Operative

Job Summary

We are now looking to employ an additional Production Operative to support our Shepshed based team.

Responsibilities

As part of the Production team, the Production Technician will provide high quality goods to meet Campbell Scientific’s customers’ needs, focusing on set customer delivery timescales, of exceptional quality and on time.

• Carry out a variety of production tasks to a high standard:
  • hand soldering;
  • general electronic and mechanical assembly work (including fine dexterity assembly);
  • wire harnessing;
  • printed circuit board assembly;
  • potting and conformal coating.
• Liaise with the Research and Development team and develop Work Instructions and assembly techniques as new products are introduced into Production.
• Ensure issued components are correct to Works Orders and notify stores of any errors.
