The Production Operator sets up and operates automated press equipment to process fabric materials, ensuring products meet quality and production standards. This role involves loading and unloading light materials, performing basic assembly tasks, and conducting visual quality checks in a modern, fast-paced manufacturing environment.
**Responsibilities**
+ Load raw fabric material into the press machine, handling parts that weigh less than 15 pounds.
+ Unload finished products from the press machine in a safe and efficient manner.
+ Remove excess material from finished parts and place the scrap (skeleton) into designated recycling containers.
+ Perform quick visual quality checks on finished products to identify defects or irregularities.
+ Assemble small components into fabric according to work instructions and specifications.
