Production Planner

**Job Description Summary**
The Production Planner is responsible for orchestrating and optimising daily and long-range production schedules to ensure timely availability of materials, efficient use of labour and equipment, and a smooth, continuous production flow.

This role uses planning and scheduling tools to translate demand and capacity into executable plans, allocates resources to meet customer and operational commitments, and closely monitors work schedules to identify and resolve bottlenecks. The Production Planner regularly analyses production and inventory data to adjust plans, improve throughput, and reduce delays or excess stock.

Success in this role requires strong collaboration with cross-functional teams across operations, supply chain, quality, and engineering to align priorities, communicate changes, and resolve constraints.
