Production planner

Job Description

To plan and optimise production processes to achieve world class levels of delivery performance and production efficiency.

Reporting to Supply Chain Manager.

Education and Experience Matric/ Grade 12 National Diploma / Degree: Production Planning / Operations / Production Management Experiential Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role within Production (preferably Automotive) Syspro use & understanding ERP / MRP training & courses Syspro experience preferred Production planning Plan, schedule and monitor production against the Master Production Schedule (MPS) for all levels of production through to component level (including stock levels, minimum requirements, planned change overs, etc.) Measure performance and adjust production plan to suite breakdowns, un‑forecast sales etc.

Produce daily, weekly and monthly reports on adherence to production plan
