Opportunity Description
Overview of Position:
This role is responsible for developing, reviewing, and maintaining the master production schedule to smooth customer demand. It is expected that the Production Planner will coordinate with production on a daily basis to make sure lead-times, on-time delivery (OTD) and customer demand is met.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Develops, publishes, and maintains the Master Production Schedule, balancing inventory, resources, and capacity.Troubleshoot problems with production scheduling and consumable varianceReview sales forecast and shipment history to develop a production schedule/plan per product line that meets revenue needs and limits inventory risks.Identify risks associated with the schedule/plan to include consideration for expedites drop-ins, sales history and inventory levels.Works closely with Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, Purchasing and Custome...
