DIVISION: ISIPINGO HOSPITAL - THEATRE

JOB TITLE: REGISTERED NURSE

PURPOSE OF POSITION

To provide age-appropriate patient care according to the nursing scope of practice as defined by the South African Nursing Council (SANC).

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS Must be able to practice within your scope of practice as a Registered Nurse. Must be competent with the Hospitals Policies and Regulations. Ability to lead and supervise staff. Attend to patient care. Attend to patients complaints. COMPETENCIES (The following will be advantageous) MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

(Educational Qualifications & Experience)

Must be registered with SANC as a Registered Nurse. Must have a minimum of 2 years theatre experience. Must be prepared to do calls (Theatre Calls). Must be computer literate – MS Word & Excel. SKILLS (Practical & Technical) Excellent Communication Skills BEHAVIOURAL ATTRIBUTES
