Minimum Requirements: Professor:
Doctoral degree in Chemistry Education or Science Education with specialization in Chemistry Chemistry or Chemistry Education as a major subject at Bachelor’s level A relevant teaching qualification At least ten (10) years’ relevant experience in teaching in higher education of which three (3) years must be at Senior Lecturer level comprising of relevant academic management experience. Recipient of research awards and grants Demonstrable track record of publications in accredited and peer-reviewed journals over the last 5 years (nationally andinternationally) Post-graduate students supervised to completion relevant to the Education field (preferably in the field SP FET) Experience in supervision of students on teaching practice NRF rated.
