Summary About the Position: Department of War Education Activity (DoWEA) is responsible for planning, directing, coordinating, and managing prekindergarten through 12th grade educational programs on behalf of the Department of War(DoW). DoWEA is globally positioned and operates accredited schools in various districts located in foreign countries, states, Guam, and Puerto Rico. The Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA) is transitioning to the Department of War Education Activity (DoWEA). Responsibilities Support regional Student Activities, Educational Curriculum, Content and Standards, Junior Reserve Officers' Training (JROTC), and Interscholastic Athletic programs. Compose policy letters, guidance memorandums, and various correspondence. Coordinate events and provide facilities oversight.
