Opportunity Description
The University of Southern California Imaging Genetics Center (http://igc.ini.usc.edu) - part of the USC Mark and Mary Stevens Institute for Neuroimaging and Informatics - in Marina del Rey, California is looking for a full-time Project Assistant.
Duties will focus on analyzing existing brain images to investigate Alzheimer’s disease risk.
Required:
+ Candidate should be well-organized, careful, reliable, detail oriented, able to meet deadlines, and able to work both collaboratively and independently.
+ Good knowledge of using spreadsheets.
Preferred:
+ A bachelor’s or master’s degree in neuroscience, psychology, or a related field.
+ A demonstrated ability to learn computer programming (e.g., passing a previous computer programming class).
+ Some knowledge of MATLAB, python, or bash scripting.
+ Some experience with MRI or PET analysis.
