Opportunity Description

Job Overview

Under the direction of the Director of the Social and Cultural Development Department, the Project Coordinator – Early Childhood will be responsible for managing NTI’s Health Service Integration Fund Project (HSIF) in the area of Early Childhood Development and Education.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Write an analysis report summarizing current barriers and challenges in the area.
  • Develop a framework for action to address the identified needs in partnership with the Government of Nunavut departments, Inuit organizations, and other partners or stakeholders as required.

Qualifications

  • Self‑starter with highly developed project‑management skills.
  • Robust writing, policy‑analysis, planning, and research skills.
  • Solid leadership skills and the ability to work within a team workplace.
  • Ability to work with demanding deadlines under high levels of stress and the ability to travel.
