Senior Solar PV Electrical Project Engineer — Fixed-Term (12 months).

We’re supporting a leading renewable energy player to appoint a Senior Solar PV Electrical Project Engineer on a 12-month fixed-term contract. Role is South Africa site based with travel. Start : ASAP. Only open to south africans

Responsibilities Lead the electrical scope from detailed design → commissioning → COD. Produce / review SLDs, stringing, cable sizing, earthing & lightning, MV and protection coordination. Manage grid connection (utility liaison, self-build works), compliance, SCADAintegration. Compile ERs / specs / Bo Qs; review OEM datasheets (inverters / transformers / switchgear / relays); resolve TQs / CRs. Oversee FAT / SAT, site QA / QC, performance testing, as-builts and O&M handover. Requirements BEng / BSc Electrical Engineering (essential); Pr Eng / Pr Tech advantageous. 10+ yrs solar PV with strong MV design & protection. Proficient in PVSyst ...
