Project Engineer (Control & Automation)

Job Summary The Project Engineer will be building new concepts and bridging simulation, control systems, and hardware to help the R&D Team develop and validate new solutions. Key Responsibilities Developing Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) environments to test and validate shipboard components, control strategies, and automation systems for emerging maritime technologies. Integrate sensors, actuators, and industrial controllers with HIL test platforms Build automated test cases to validate system performance and fault scenarios Support new business opportunities by development of testing platforms and translation into operational tools or commercial services
Key Requirements Background in control systems, automation, mechatronics, or electrical engineering Minimal 2 years of work experience with programming (e.g., Python, C/C++, MATLAB/Simulink) Familiarity with industrial automation or PLC systems Interest in system testing, simulation environments, and hardware integration Strong proble...
