Project Facilitator, Youth Employment Programs

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Under the general supervision of the Project Developer , the Project Facilitator of Youth Employment Programs will provide project-based learning workshops to participants of the Summer Youth Employment Program. Specific duties and responsibilities include:


+ Attend Department of Youth and Community Development (DYCD) and RiseBoro facilitated Project-Based curricula training sessions to become proficient in the assigned project

+ Responsible for the facilitation of assigned project-based learning experiences to two cohorts of SYEP participants daily

+ Compile and maintain project portfolios

+ Supervise, interact and engage the Summer Youth Employment Program (SYEP) participants at all times

+ Track and record daily attendance

+ Actively participate in weekly team meetings with Program Director, Project Director, and Educational Coordinator
