DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Under the supervision and guidance of the Chief, Hydrological Forecasting and Water Resources Division (C/HFWR), the incumbent will perform the following duties:

(a) Develop a new business model for the Associated Programme on Flood Management (APFM), attracting potential partners and donors for core funding;

(b) Develop and submit project proposals for specific ad hoc activities related to APFM to major donor agencies;

(c) Assume responsibility for capacity‑building projects in the field of integrated flood management, coordinating with the Capacity Building in Hydrology and Water Resources Management Office;

(d) Liaise with support base partners of the APFM and coordinate development of practical products based on requests received through the Department of Climate and Water, the Global Water Partnership, and the Integrated Flood Management (IFM) ...
