At the heart of LANL's mission is the Pit Technologies (PT) Division, a key component of the Associate Laboratory Directorate for Weapons Production (ALDWP). This division is at the forefront of manufacturing operations at Technical Area 55 (TA-55), a state-of-the-art facility dedicated to plutonium processing, pit production, and business operations.
